One way drain plug – A one way drain plug on all boats makes draining your boat easy.
2 Chamber Tube – Our tubes are built using a 3-layer seam construction with all seams butted both externally and internally.
Wheel in the Keel™ – On the bottom of all Walker Bay’s you will find a wheel making launching or moving you boat super easy.
Motor or Sail Kit Ready – the WB8 and WB10 come with a motor mount which allows use of an outboard or is designed to take a rudder for a sail kit. Row it, Motor it, Sail it!
Premium one-way valves make inflation and deflation easy and straightforward.
Steel Back Oarlocks Optional – Stainless Steel insert molded Oarlocks are designed for extended use and are off-set to offer two different rowing positions.
RID Concept offers more internal space than comparable small inflatables, rows better and allows for a sail kit option.
Integrated Cockpit floor with non-skid pads – Standard with the 310R Boat, the Cockpit Floor drains to keep your feet dry and comes with an adjustable rowing footrest.

Innovative Design
The VPD tube is varied in both diameter and shape along the length of the boat to provide optimum performance and to act as a Fender with a protective rub rail when alongside other boats or docking. The Walker Bay® RID offers increased cockpit space and dry comfortable seating compared to inflatables of the same size, while maintaining the security of a durable rigid hull.
How it Works
With a light load and moderate seas, the VPD tube does not engage and the bow cuts gracefully through the water. In heavier seas or as the load shifts, the VPD tube engages as required for lateral stability.
Exceptional Cockpit Space
Because of the large rigid hull structure with external tubes, the RID has exceptional cockpit space for a small boat. Three comfortable seats provide secure internal seating for all passengers and greater cargo capacity. The lapstrake hull of the Rigid Dinghy is designed to cut through water producing less displacement and drag, resulting in a boat that rows easier and straighter. What’s more, the Hydro Curve Oar blades are super light to reduce swing weight and rower fatigue and are curved to maximize rowing efficiency.
