Incredible Durability
- One piece High Impact Marine Composite (HIMC) hull has no seams where cracks or leaks can occur.
- HIMC material can be pulled up on rocks or rough beach without fear of damage to the hull.
- Use of composite materials in sailing hardware adds durability and extended use.
Lower Maintenance Costs

Larger capacity
Because a Walker Bay® has more room in comparison to other boats, this allows for an instructor to sail with new students when just learning
Better Stability for Learning
- By adding a tube you increase the stability of the boat, perfect for learning to sail.
- The tube still allows for a boat to capsize in order to teach this skill to students.
- When a boat does capsize with a tube, it is easy to right and actually takes on less water than without a tube making it easier to bail or sail back to shore.
Also acts as a Row or Motor Boat
- Because our boats come with an integrated oar system, there is the opportunity to allow very novice boaters/sailors to start their experience by first just getting out on the water without any sail at all.
- Many schools also rent their Walker Bays® as row or motor boats for extra revenue. This is easy as sail kits break down and store quickly and easily.

A Walker Bay® hull is the lightest possible and comes with a Wheel in the Keel to make it easy to launch or move around in your school.

Warranty/ Replacement Parts
All Walker Bay® boats come with a 10 year HIMC Hull & Hypalon® tube warranty and a 5 year Polymer Tube Fabric Warranty. In addition, replacement parts can be purchased from Walker Bay® directly.
